Malaysia is once again proud to play host to the 10th edition of the LIMA Exhibition, which will be held from 1 – 5 December 2009 in Langkawi.
The Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre will be the venue for both the maritime and aerospace exhibitions for 2009, moving away from a two venue, two organizer structure.
Exhibition will be open to the public on Saturday,5 December 2009 with RM20(approximately USD6) entrance fee.There will be aerial display,warship exhibition and boat demonstration available to the public visitors.
The Indian Surya Kiran aircraft and the Sarang helicopter team will present an aerobatics display at the LIMA 2009 air show. The Malaysian defence minister, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid said a fly-past by the eight-engined strategic bomber, B-52 Startorfortress, will be one of the highlights at Lima’09 in Langkawi in December this year.
In addition, the Royal Malaysian Air Force will show their KD Tunku Abdul Rahman (submarine), and the Alenia Aermacchi MB-339 CM jet trainer. A total of 94 aircraft and 80 ships are expected at Lima’09'. I'll not miss this opportunity to be one among of the visitor!
